Elks come from behind to beat Garrison

ELKHART, March 6, 2013-- The Elkhart Elks came from behind to beat the Garrison Bulldogs in the District opener here in the Backyard of Elkhart.

The Elks found themselves down 4 - 0 going into the bottom of the 5th when they managed to score 3 runs lead by a 2 RBI single by Jacob Cheatham.

Hunter Parker pitched two hitless and scoreless innings in relief of Jordan White to get the win.

The winning runs crossed the plate in the bottom of the 6th when Cole Bridges drove in two runs with a single to left. The Elks improve to 11 - 2 overall and will travel to Canton to play in the I - 20 classic this Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m., versus White Oak.
