BULLARD, April 25, 2017--During a special called School Board Meeting, on Monday, April 24, the Bullard ISD Board of Trustees approved the recommendation of the Superintendent in the hiring of Scott Callaway as Bullard ISD Athletic Director.
Coach Callaway is an East Texas native and has been in education for over 25 years; nine years as an Athletic Director and Head Football Coach in Big Sandy and Gladewater. He currently works as the Offensive Coordinator/Asst. Head Coach for Mesquite High School.
Callaway received a bachelors of science in education from Stephen F Austin State University then later earned his Masters of Education Administration from Texas A&M Commerce.
Callaway has been married to Leigh Callaway, an elementary teacher, for 25 years. They have three children: Kasey (22) and her husband Joshua, Colby (20), and Cooper (14). Joshua and Colby both proudly serve in the United States Marine Corp.
