BISD Boys Soccer Coach

BULLARD,  June 8, 2017 -- Bullard ISD is proud to announce the hiring of Darren Vossler as the Boys’ Soccer Coach for the 2017-2018 year. The new program was approved by the Board of Trustees on Monday, January 12, 2017.

Coach Vossler has been a teacher for 3.5 years with a focus on special education. Vossler earned a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from University of Texas at Tyler and will graduate with his Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University in July 2017. He has coached football, basketball, track and baseball and most recently was the HS soccer varsity assistant coach and head JV coach at Medina Valley ISD. In the fall, Coach Vossler will serve as a special education teacher at BHS while coaching the boys’ soccer team.

Vossler has been married to Katie Vossler for 4 years. They have daughter, Grace, who will be 2 in August.

I am looking forward to starting and growing the boys’ soccer program. To me, coaching isn’t just about sports.
