TYLER, September 18, 2013-- Groundbreaking took place at 10:00 a.m., yesterday, for The Village at Cumberland Park, in Tyler.
The site is located at the northeast corner of Broadway Avenue and Loop 49. The total project acreage upon completion will be approximately 80 acres, and over 700,000 square feet. Construction is expected to be completed in the summer/fall of 2014.

“We’re expecting to have somewhere between 80 and 100 tenants,” said Retail Connection’s David Wilson. Wilson also projected the total cost of the project to be over $100,000 by the time is completed.
Leases confirmed so far include: Joann Stores, Kirkland’s, Studio Movie Grill, Gordman’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Cost Plus World Market, Vitamin Shoppe, Abuelo’s, Lane Bryant, TJ Maxx, Petco, Shenaniganz, Dress Barn, and AT&T.
