TYLER, April 18, 2014-- The University of Texas at Tyler Fine Arts Complex Gallery will present the public exhibition “Slow Change” beginning on Monday, April 21, Ray Sikes, gallery coordinator, announced.
Featured UT Tyler artists are Jennifer Slagle of Canton, Cristina Blau of Flint and Erin Ethridge of Garden Valley. Works consist of paintings as well as relief and standing sculpture.
A public reception and artist gallery talks will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the gallery.
The exhibition, which is executed in partial fulfillment of UT Tyler’s bachelor of fine arts degree, concludes Friday, May 2.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and by special appointment.
Housed within the College of Arts and Sciences, the UT Tyler bachelor of fine arts degree program offers students an opportunity to concentrate in two-dimensional studio art, three-dimensional studio art, multi-media art, art history or general studio art.
UT Tyler students may also seek an all-level teaching certification with the degree.
