UT Palestine's new nursing lab ready for fall semester

PALESTINE, July 28, 2014— The University of Texas – Palestine is nearing completion on the new building which will be used for the nursing program, according to Administrator Susan Harris.

The 6,400 square-foot facility, which is located behind Mathis Hall, will hold two large nursing labs and a smaller hospital simulation lab. According to Harris, the building should be ready in time for the upcoming fall semester.

“We’re very excited about [the new facility]. It’s come along nicely, and it’s going to be a great asset,” said Harris.

Classes will begin August 25.
