Update: Reward offered in Aug. 12 Austin Bank Robbery case

TYLER, August 15, 2014—UPDATE: A $25,000 dollar reward has been offered for the identity, arrest and conviction of the suspects responsible for the Austin Bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Shaw and Loop 323 in Tyler.

This reward for information has been limited to a three week time period that will expire on Friday, September 5, 2014.

Please call Tyler Police Department or F.B.I. with the suspect’s identification.

TYLER, August 12, 2014—This morning, at approximately 10:11 a.m., Tyler Police Department received a hold-up alarm from Austin Bank, according to Tyler Police Department Public Information Officer Don Martin.

The suspects were armed and left the scene with an undetermined amount of cash before police arrived. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspects are described as three black males, in their 30s, wearing all-dark clothing, with torn shirts over their faces.

The suspects left in a gold vehicle, which was later located. Witness reports claim the suspects transferred from the gold vehicle into a red Dodge Stratus and a gray Nissan Altima, both with dark tinted windows.
