UPDATE: Police seek persons of interest in North Richland Hills murder

PALESTINE, August 20, 2013--UPDATE: On December 9, 2007, Marianne Wilkinson and her husband were spending a quiet night together in their North Richland Hills home when their doorbell unexpectedly rang. Mrs. Wilkinson answered the door and was fatally shot in her home by an unknown assailant. The Wilkinson’s were alone when this incident occurred and there is no known motive for the shooting. It is strongly believed this was a tragic case of mistaken identity and that neither Mrs. Wilkinson nor her family were the intended targets of this senseless violence.

Since then, North Richland Hills Investigators have come up with three persons of interest in the case.

“By saying ‘persons of interest,’ we’re just talking about individuals who we believe have direct knowledge of the person(s) responsible for the murder,” said North Richland Hills Investigator Keith Bauman.

The three individual sought as persons of interest are Dennis Michael Taylor, Vincent Lane, and Willie Boley. Boley is believed to be from the Palestine area.

“We’re hoping that somebody has either talked to these individuals, or overheard a conversation, or has some knowledge that will assist us in putting all these pieces together and bringing justice for this family, and bringing closure to this case,” said Investigator Bauman. “We’re hoping somebody from the Palestine area may have that information that can assist us in…bringing this case to a closure.”

Anyone with information on the persons of interest, or this case, should call the North Richland Hills Police Department at 817-427-7000.

“We do appreciate the public’s assistance, and that’s going to be the one tool we use to close this case,” said Investigator Bauman.

KYYK’s Gary Richards spoke with Officer Bauman about the case, and the search for the three persons of interest. Click below for details.
