Tyler Public Library hosts free Movie Matinees, Story Time

TYLER, July 5, 2013— The Tyler Public Library offers free Movie Matinees every Monday and Tuesday, at 2 p.m., and Fables and Films Story Time on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays, at 10:30 a.m. Both events are free and run through the end of July.

The movie matinees are major motion pictures the whole family can enjoy, rated G or PG. The movies are shown in the Taylor Auditorium on a large screen.

Fables and Films includes stories read aloud, songs, finger plays and a short film.

“Fables and Films is a continuation of our Read Aloud Crowd held during the school year, but the audiences are usually larger in the summer, which is why you will find us in the Taylor Auditorium at the Library,” said Youth Services Librarian Linda Gray.

The Tyler Public Library is located at 201 S. College Ave. For a list of movie titles and ratings please contact the Library by phone at 903- 593-READ (7323). For information about other Library events, visit www.TylerLibrary.com.
