TYLER, August 11, 2014— On Monday, August 11, 2014 at 7:52 a.m., Tyler Police received a 911 call of a robbery from an employee of the Capital One Bank, located at Copeland and Loop 323.
The bank employee stated that she and another female employee were walking back towards the drive-thru building door when they were approached by a white, male suspect telling them to drop the black night deposit bag. The suspect then grabbed the bag and fled in a dark Mercedes Benz, 4- door with no license plates.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, thin build, wearing a suit and a nylon stocking over his head.
Anyone with information about the suspect involved in this crime is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crime Stoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
