The Tyler ISD qualifying students will join 35 other seniors from All Saints Episcopal, Brook Hill, Bishop TK Gorman, and Grace Community high schools to make up the fifth senior class to participate in the TB&T program in Tyler.   Students were selected based on their grade point average, extra-curricular activities, and after-school work activities.

John Tyler High School participating seniors include Andre Crawford II, Paola Diaz, Tonyae Evans, Cristal Galindez, Sandra Garcia, Erick Gonzalez, Melanie Johnson, Jacqueline Luna, Nickolas Mayfield, Crystal Pilar, Brenda Tarango, James Trammell, and Chatammia Washington.  Robert E. Lee High School participating seniors include Christian Bell, Jackson Calhoun, Jordan Caraway, Kylar Gee, Abigail Halbrook, Chandler Harrison, Dhrur Narayanan, John Oliver, Ryan Rendon, Witt Seeber, Graham Thompson, Phillip White, and Heunice Zatarain.

The Student Board program will introduce students to banking and money management at a critical point in their lives, and provide them with the essential economic building blocks to earning, spending, saving, and investing money. The students will be challenged to test their innovation and business development skills with a new program, titled Investment Quest.  As aspiring entrepreneurs, the student board members will have eight months to conceptualize a product, service, or business they could potentially bring to market.
