Two arrested for burglary on Wells Street

TYLER, April 11, 2013--On Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 10:22 a.m., Tyler Police received a 911 call from a citizen that reported seeing two black, male suspects kick in his neighbor’s back door at 522 Wells Street.

As officers arrived on the scene, the suspects fled on foot.  Officers flooded the area and were able to capture both suspects.

The suspects have been identified as John Climax, age 25, of Tyler, and Shelton Oliver, age 19, of Tyler.

Climax and Oliver were both booked into the Smith County Jail and charged with Burglary of a Habitation - a 2nd degree Felony.

 

An arrest does not mean that the individual or individuals have been convicted of the alleged violation, unless otherwise noted. Individuals on are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
