PALESTINE, September 6, 2013—Two local residents remained in the Anderson County Jail on Thursday, following their arrest on a burglary warrant Wednesday, in Elkhart.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary that occurred in the 3000 block of ACR 153 on August 30, with several items, including tools and personal items, reported stolen.
After an investigation, officers were able to identify the two suspects involved as:
Brandee Leigh Arnold, age 37, of Palestine
and Jeffrey Keith Glenn Jr., age 28, of Elkhart.
Sgt. Investigator Ronnie Foster got a warrant for their arrest on Tuesday. The two suspects were arrested on Wednesday, in front of the Elkhart Pharmacy on U.S. 287.
Some of the stolen property in the case has been recovered, and officers are continuing to investigate the case. Police believe the two suspects are possibly involved in other burglary and theft cases in the Elkhart area, and that there are possibly other suspects involved.
Both suspects were charged with Burglary of a Habitation with bond set at $50,000 each. ACSO Sgt. Brian Chason and Deputy Ginger Lively assisted in the investigation.
