Two arrested after execution of Wood Street search warrant

CROCKETT, September 27, 2013-- During the early morning hours of September 26, Officers with the Crockett Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 200 Block of Wood Street, in Crockett.

Detectives with the Crockett Police Department discovered information regarding several open burglary cases that were currently being investigated. This information allowed Detectives to obtain a search warrant for the above location.

During the search warrant Officers/Detectives recovered numerous stolen items as well as illegal narcotics. Cortez Xavier Foreman, age 17, of Crockett, was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property. A Class A Misdemeanor, and Freddie James Foreman, age 46, of Crockett, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1 – 1-4 Grams, a Third Degree Felony.

Both suspects were transported to the Houston County Jail where they were booked and charged. There are additional charges pending on Cortez Foreman.

 

An arrest does not mean that the individual or individuals have been convicted of the alleged violation, unless otherwise noted. Individuals are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
