TYLER, August 27, 2014— Update: The suspect arrested by the FBI in connection to the Capital One Bank Robbery is identified as Daniel River Burson, age 37, of McKinney, Texas. Burson was employed by Capital One Bank as their corporate Security Consultant - Investigator.
Burson was arraigned in Federal Court on Wednesday, in Tyler.

TYLER, August 26, 2014-- A joint investigation between the Tyler Police Department and the FBI has led to an arrest of the suspect who is responsible for the robbery that occurred at Capital One Bank on Monday, August 11, 2014.
Details are being withheld on the suspect’s identity at this time.
On Monday, August 11, at 7:52 a.m., Tyler police received a 911 call of a robbery from an employee of the Capital One Bank, located at Copeland and Loop 323.
The bank employee stated that she and another female employee were walking back toward the drive-thru building door when they were approached by a suspect telling them to drop the black night deposit bag. The suspect then grabbed the bag and fled in a dark Mercedes Benz, 4- door with no license plates.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, thin build, wearing a suit and a nylon stocking over his head.
Anyone with information about the suspect involved in this crime is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crime Stoppers at 903-597-CUFF (2833). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
