Tomato Fest Queen Pageant slated August 3

JACKSONVILLE, May 27, 2013—The Jacksonville Tomato Fest Queen Pageant will be held on Saturday, August 3, at the Jacksonville High School Auditorium, 1210 Corinth Road. The Jacksonville Tomato Fest Queen will rule the 30th Annual Tomato Fest which will be held on June 14.

The Pageant will begin at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday. Rehearsal for the Pageant will be held on Friday, August 2, at 6:00 p.m. Entry fee for the Pageant is $50.00. Payments must be received by July 10.

The age groups will be:

0-2 years Baby Princess – one dress wear

3-5 years Princess – one dress wear

6-9 years Miss Princess – one sports and one dress wear

10-14 years Jr. Queen – one sports and one dress wear

15-18 years Queen – one sports and one dress wear, and also a talent – no more than four minutes in length.

All modeled attire must be in good taste and age appropriate. Parens are responsible for all set up and take down. There will only be one crown awarded per age group. The winner of the 15-18 year ategory will also receive a $500.00 scholarship.
