Tomato Fest Pageant Contest slated for August 3

JACKSONVILLE, June 22, 2013--A Tomato Fest Pageant Queen’s Contest will be held in Jacksonville, on Saturday, August 3, at the Jacksonville High School Auditorium. The Pageant will begin at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, and Rehearsal will be on Friday, August 2, at 6:00 p.m. Entry Fee is $50.00; payment must be received by July 10. Anyone can enter. Contestants do not have to be from Jacksonville.

The age groups will be: 0-2 years Baby Princess- one dress wear, 3-5 years Princess- one dress wear, 6-9 years Miss Princess- one sports and one dress wear, 10-14 years Jr. Queen- one sports and one dress wear and 15-18 years Queen- one sports and one dress wear, also a talent that last no more than 4 minutes. All modeled attire must be in good taste and age appropriate. Parents are responsible for all set up and take down. There will only be one crown awarded per age group. The 15-18 year olds will also receive a $500.00 scholarship. If there are less than three contestants in an age group, contestants will be moved up to the next age group.
