TYLER, March 28, 2013-- Following a successful string of performances for U.S. troops in Japan last month, the Tyler Junior College Apache Belles are back stateside and preparing for their annual Spring Show.
This year’s show, titled “It’s a Southern Thing,” runs 7:30 p.m., nightly, Thursday-Saturday, April 4-6, in Wise Auditorium, with a 2 p.m., matinee on Saturday, April 6.
This is the 28th annual spring show for the Apache Belles; and this theme features music and choreography with a Southern flair.
“The show celebrates all the wonderful and unique things about living in the South,” Apache Belles Director Jasilyn Schaefer said. “Spring show is also the last time our sophomores will perform as Apache Belles, and it is a time of reunion and touching base for our former Belles. It is always an emotional, powerful show for performers and audience members alike.”
Tickets are $8 for the 7:30 p.m., Thursday, and 2 p.m., Saturday, performances, and $13 for the 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, shows. Tickets are available in the TJC Cashier’s Office located in White Administrative Services Center, or online at www.apachebelles.com. Any unsold tickets will also be available at the Wise Auditorium box office before each show.
