LONGVIEW, August 20, 2014-- Organizers of the T-Bone Walker Blues Fest have announced that reserved seat tickets for the event are now available on the festival's secure website at www.tbonewalkerbluesfest.com.
The festival will be held September 12-13, at Longview's Maude Cobb Convention Center and will feature music by nationally touring blues musicians such as Jimmie Vaughan, Rick Derringer, Lurrie Bell and Tony Joe White, as well as regional favorites like Texas Flood, Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets, and the Stratoblasters featuring Jimmy Wallace.
Festival officials report that initial online sales have been brisk for the first week, with some sections selling out in the first few days.
The Friday evening and all-day Saturday program feature continuous music on two stages: The indoor Wells Fargo Advisors stage, where reserved seating is available, and the Patterson Nissan outdoor stage which will have general admission lawn-chair style seating.
General admission tickets can be had for as little as $10 for adults and $2.50 for children (ages 7 – 12) by taking advantage of the Family Fun Early Bird Special from Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday. After 4:00 p.m. prices will revert to $20 and $5 for adults and children, respectively.
Reserved indoor seating prices begin at $25 for Friday evening and $50 for Saturday. Premium seating options are also available. Reserved ticket holders will also have free access to the outdoor stage area.
Indoor seating at Maude Cobb is limited to 2,100 per day and organizers expect most of those seats to be sold by the time online sales end September 2. A hotline for telephone ticket orders will be available in the near future.
Outdoor Stage General Admission tickets are not being sold on the website and will only be available at the gate on the day of the show.
