Three people arrested following a disturbance at Lake Palestine Marina.

ANDERSON CO., August 20, 2013--On August 18, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to the Deep End Marina on Lake Palestine, in reference to a disturbance with weapons. Deputy Dean and Sgt. Bishop responded to the call. A Frankston Police Department Officer and a Texas Game Warden were also on scene to assist.

According to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor, numerous people at the location had been involved in an altercation. During the altercation, three men reportedly assaulted two other individuals with a pipe. A Frankston man was struck in the head and in the chest, and a Frankston woman was struck in the hand with the pipe.

Three suspects were arrested at the scene:

Crime Suspect - Daniel Duran

Daniel Duran, age 18, of Rusk

Crime Suspect - Mark Anthony Uribe-Duran

Mark Anthony Uribe-Duran, age 23, of Rusk

Crime Suspect - Anthony Dewayne Wooddell

Anthony Dewayne Wooddell, age 23, of Rusk

All three men were charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon, with a bond set at $10,000 each. At the time of this article, Duran and Uribe-Duran have been released on bond, while Wooddell remains jailed.

Police are unsure what caused the altercation.

Sheriff Taylor also gives an update on a case involving prior Neches School Board member, Joshua Kinkaid, age 33, who was rearrested on Friday, following his original arrest in June, for child pornography-related charges.
