Texas Parks and Wildlife to offer Hunter Education Course Aug. 4-6

ANDERSON CO., August 1, 2014— Texas Parks and Wildlife will offer a Hunter Education Course Monday, August 4 – Wednesday, August 6, at the Anderson County Courthouse Annex from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., each night. Participants must be present for the entire length of each class to receive credit.

Anyone born after September 2, 1971, must be certified in order to hunt alone after the age of 17. Children younger than 17 may hunt without certification as long as they are with an adult age 18 or over.

The course and certification is $15.00. Those interested must bring their Social Security number and a pen.
