Texas A&M Forest Service to host children's education at Davey Dogwood

PALESTINE, April 26, 2013—The Texas A&M Forest Service will be presenting a special educational program for school children next week, says District Fire Coordinator Troy Case.

The program, held at Davey Dogwood Park, gives area school districts an opportunity to bring children from the schools for a time of fun and education. Children will participate in multiple stations and have a good time while learning more about the forest.

The educational event will be held Monday, April 29 – May 3, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The park will be closed to the public during these times.
