ANDERSON CO., March 15, 2014-- This Vegetable Educational program will be held on Thursday, March 20, at the Anderson County Annex,703 N. Mallard. Program will start at 3:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. Dr. Nelson Daniels Specialist, Cooperative Extension, PVAMU and Dr. Joe Masabni, Horticulture Specialist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will be the speakers.
This event will prove to be beneficial for Truck Farmers and Homeowners. Topics that will be covered include Variety Selection, Crops for Truck Farming and Marketing, Organic Certification for Vegetable Production, and High Tunnel Vegetable Production. If you are a gardener or commercial truck farmer or interested in learning more about Truck Farming, we encourage you to attend this program.
