Start the year off with computer classes at Palestine Public Library

PALESTINE, JANUARY 22, 2018 -- Interested in learning something new in 2018? The Palestine Public Library will be hosting free computer classes throughout the first half of 2018 on Mondays and Thursdays.

 

Those with or without computer skills can learn the basics of computing, from using computer hardware to browsing the Internet. The class is designed to teach those who have no skills learn the basics of computing.

 

The library is also offering classes in Microsoft Office 2010 programs Word and Excel. The classes, taught by a certified Microsoft instructor, will give students basic and intermediate knowledge of the popular word processing and spreadsheet programs. Basic computing skills are required to take the Microsoft classes.

 

All classes are taught at the Palestine Public Library’s Computer Room. The library is located inside the Palestine Mall, 2000 S. Loop 256.
