Search for Palestine Chamber Director continues

PALESTINE, July 17, 2013—Applications are being taken, and interviews have been underway for the position of Palestine Chamber of Commerce Director.

Former Director, Meghan Hill resigned her position in May, after accepting a marketing position with Trinity Mother Francis Hospital.

According to Chamber President Alan George, the first round of applications resulted in four interviews. Out of the interviews, one candidate was viewed as a possibility and will be brought back for the final round of interviews.

The second set of applications is currently being taken and the second round of interviews is expected to follow later this month.

“This is not a decision we’re going to rush,” said George. “We want to make sure we have the right person in place to take the Chamber to the next step.”
