TYLER, July 9, 2013-- The City of Tyler’s Liberty Hall is starting registration for the “Last Chance Summer Drama Camp” for children ages 7 to 15. This camp will run July 29 through Aug. 2, and is a partnership with APEX Entertainment.
“The “Really Rosie” drama camp at Liberty Hall in June was such a success that we decided to do one more before the end of summer,” said Felicity Enas, creative director for APEX Entertainment. “A lot of people said they wished the camp was later in the summer, so here we go.”
Enas, Hannah Morris and Chris Abraham of APEX will lead the children through the process of writing, producing and performing a play for the public. The camp hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The final performance will be Aug. 3, at 10:30 a.m., at Liberty Hall.
Liberty Hall is pleased to collaborate with local partners to bring the best in live entertainment to its stage. APEX provides both training of actors for film and the stage and produces cutting-edge plays not available elsewhere in the city.
The summer camp costs $100 per camper and there are only 25 spots available. To register or for more information about APEX Entertainment, go to www.apextheatre20.com or call 903-740-5387.
