Reckless Driver report results in arrest on multiple charges

PALESTINE, April 23, 2013--KYYK’s Gary Richards spoke with Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor about an arrest which took place on April 20.

At approximately 3:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to a Reckless Driver call in the area of 645 and 79 W. The incident resulted in the arrest of Matthew James Dewey on multiple charges including: Aggravated Assault on a Public Servant, Tampering with Evidence, Resisting Arrest, Driving while Intoxicated, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  

Sheriff Taylor also speaks about a string of vehicle burglaries and urges citizens to remove all valuables from their vehicles, and to keep their vehicles locked and items of interest out of sight.
