Police still searching for suspect in Club Tangeria shooting

PALESTINE, May 24, 2013--Early in the morning, on May 6, Police were called Club Tangeria, when a caller reported a man had been shot. Police and EMS arrived on the scene and found the victim on the ground in front of the club. Initial information from witnesses indicated the victim had been sitting in a car in front of the club at the time of the shooting. Witnesses also reported that a midsize car drove by and three to four shots rang out. The victim was hit in the arm and abdominal area. The victim was transported to a Tyler hospital by air.

The victim is still in the hospital, but is expected to recover. He has been interviewed and is cooperating with police. Police are also still attempting to locate other possible witnesses in the case.
