Police seek public assistance in locating missing Jacksonville man

JACKSONVILLE, January 27, 2014— Police are seeking public assistance in the case of a missing Jacksonville man.

According to Jacksonville Police Detective Jeremy Pate, 28 year-old Randall Roberson was last seen on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at around 5:30 p.m., in Jacksonville. He was reportedly going to New Summerfield to meet with someone. Roberson never arrived at the meeting location, and has not returned home.

On Jan. 23, Roberson’s vehicle, a 1995, white Mercury Cougar, was located abandoned just north of New Summerfield.

Roberson is described as 6’1” tall, weighing approximately 210 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Roberson was last seen wearing black pants, a dark blue t-shirt, a black ball cap, blue and black Nike Jordan shoes, and a silver necklace with silver pendant.
