Palestine man jailed for Aggravated Assault after firing shots at wife's car

ANDERSON CO., December 9, 2013— A 42 year-old Palestine man is in jail following an incident yesterday, in which he allegedly fired shots at his wife.

According to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor, on Sunday, at 8:15 a.m., Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on CR 4183, in reference to a domestic dispute.

Brian Gene Dunson reportedly became involved in a dispute with his wife. According to Sheriff Taylor, when the wife attempted to drive away from the scene of the dispute, Dunson fired shots at her back windshield with .9mm pistol.

Deputies were able to obtain the weapon and take Dunson into custody. No one was injured during the incident.

Dunson is currently in the Anderson County Jail on the charge of Aggravated Assault, Family Violence, with a Deadly Weapon – a first degree felony. His bond has been set at $100,000.
