Palestine ISD to begin renovations through Qualified School Construction Bond program

PALESTINE, April 30, 2014— Palestine ISD will see some school renovations this summer due to money received as a part of the Qualified School Construction Bond program which provides zero-interest loans to schools for construction, renovation and rehabilitation.

According to Palestine ISD Superintendent Jason Mitchell, work should begin this summer, with additional work taking place over holidays of the 2014-2015 school year,  and then be completed in the following summer.

KYYK’s Gary Richards spoke with Superintendent Mitchell about the work as well as other current issues for PISD. Click below for more.
