Palestine ISD Board focuses on budget at Monday meeting

PALESTINE, July 29, 2014— Palestine ISD School Board members were involved in a budget workshop at their regular meeting on Monday night.

According to Palestine ISD Superintendent Jason Marshall, good projected revenue along with continued property value increase will likely mean no tax increase for residents.

A detailed budget report will be given along with the final budget and tax rate recommendation at the Board’s regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, August 25.

KYYK’s Gary Richards spoke with Superintendent Marshall about the new budget and other school issues. Click below for more.
