PALESTINE, August 6, 2014— The City of Palestine Historic Landmarks Commission is seeking board members for two vacancies. Those interested in helping preserve the city’s historic resources for the continued enjoyment of all, and who would not mind spending a little time each month, may be a perfect fit. To be eligible to serve on the Historic Landmarks Commission, individuals must have an interest in historic preservation and be eligible to vote in City of Palestine elections.
Those interested should complete an application to “Serve on a Board or Commission,” available at City Hall (504 N Queen Street), or online at the City of Palestine website at:www.CityofPalestinetx.com/forms.php
