Officials still searching for Hometown Pharmacy burglary suspects

PALESTINE, July 28, 2014— On Saturday, July 20, at approximately 4:45 a.m., Officers of the Palestine Police Department were dispatched to Hometown Pharmacy at 101 Medical Drive, in regards to a burglary alarm.

Upon arrival, the responding officer observed a side door as being unsecure and pried open. No suspects were located on the premises during a search of the building. However, two males, both appearing to be heavy set, were captured on surveillance video during the commission of the offense. One of the subjects appeared to be carrying a long crow bar.

A full-size gray pickup was observed driving in the area several times prior to and immediately after the commission of the offense.

The loss from the offense is estimated to be over $3,000.00 according to the complainant.

Although the subjects were wearing hats and gloves, photographs of the subjects are being released in hopes that their features and clothing descriptions may trigger some recognition with the public.
