Numerous burglaries, thefts solved after arrest of Hardin man

HOUSTON CO., July 16, 2013--The Houston County Sheriff’s Office has solved numerous burglaries and theft cases after the arrest of Curtis Gabehart, age 53, of Hardin, Texas. 

Houston County Sheriff’s Investigators went to Angelina County, to interview Gabehart after he was found to be in possession of stolen property from Houston County. He admitted to thefts and burglaries in Houston County, and identified residences from which he had stolen items. 

Other counties also had cases cleared from this arrest including Nacogdoches, Angelina, Cherokee and Trinity.

Gabehart is still incarcerated in Angelina County at this time. A detainer has been placed on him for Houston County, pending his release.
