Longview Public Library Star Gazing Party

Come on out to the Library on Tuesday, February 19th as we turn our eyes to the sky. It's the night of a New Moon and, with the help of LeTourneau University students and Physics Professor Dr. Steve Ball, we'll be able to view through several different microscopes! We should also be able to see the Moon, Jupiter and its moons, as well as the Pleiades, a star cluster- weather permitting, of course!

We'll be outside, starting about 7:00 PM, so please dress appropriately for the temperatures outside. This event will be fun for the whole family and hopefully the weather will cooperate
