JACKSONVILLE, October 20, 2013-- Saturday, November 16, Jacksonville downtown merchants and vendors will reveal their merchandise for the Jacksonville’s Christmas on Commerce & Quilt Show.
The retailers and vendors will be located on Commerce, between Bolton and Main Street, from 10 am – 3 p.m. Home & Heart Quilt Shop will have their Quilt Show located inside the Norman Activity Center located at 526 E. Commerce. The Quilt Show will be open Friday, November 15, and Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 17, from 1 – 4 p.m. There is an admission fee of $5 per person and $3 per person (55+ years old).
Gerry’s, Home & Heart Quilt Shop, Linda Kay Show, Merle Norman, Naturally Spotted, NBF Finance & Furniture, Picture This, Rainbow’s End, Ruffles, Serendipity Consignments, Tigerlillies, Treasure Cove and over 10 vendors showcasing their holiday specials before the Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping.
Santa has a busy schedule this year, but has will make an early appearance for photos which can be purchased at Serendipity Consignment located at 103 E. Commerce.
Anita Johnston, owner of Home & Heart Quilt Shop is planning the Festival of Quilts which will be held at the Norman Activity Center, located at 526 E. Commerce. She has over 100 quilts entered in the show. Bed turning, vintage and yester year quilts, door prizes, raffle of a quilt and quilt awards will be all held inside the Norman Activity Center beginning Friday, November 15, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 17, 1 – 4 p.m.. The cost is $5 per day or $10 for the 3 day event and can be paid at the door.
