Halloween event from city postponed

PALESTINE, OCTOBER 27, 2017 --  Due to staffing and budget concerns, the planned trunk-or-treat event sponsored by the City of Palestine and the Palestine Police Department will be postponed until 2018.

The event was to take the place of the city’s Mall-O-Ween event, but there will be no city-sponsored events this Halloween. However, due to time constraints, the event could not come together.

To help residents during the holiday, the City has culminated a list of Halloween events scheduled by local groups and organizations.
