PALESTINE, February 18, 2014—The Great Texas Warrant Roundup will begin on Saturday, March 1. U.S. Marshals and local law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Texas will kick off the massive effort to collect debt owed on outstanding warrants.
The Great Texas Warrant Roundup involves more than 260 jurisdictions state-wide. Citizens who may have a warrant are encouraged to find out for sure and clear it in order to avoid the embarrassment of arrest. Palestine residents may call the Municipal Court at 903-731-8433, or the City Marshal’s Office at 903-731-8476, to check their warrant status or make payment arrangements.
KYYK’s Gary Richards spoke with Palestine City Marshal Mark Harcrow about the event and how local law enforcement will take part. Click below for more information.
