AUSTIN, November 27, 2013-- Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed three members to the Lower Neches Valley Authority Board of Directors for terms to expire July 29, 2019. The board provides water, manages floods and protects the quality of water for the Lower Neches Valley.
Lonnie Arrington of Beaumont is president of Fabricon International. He is a member of the St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica Finance Council and Texans for Lawsuit Reform Board of Governors. He is also past vice president of the Lamar University Foundation and past chairman of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve. Arrington received a bachelor's degree from New Mexico State University.
Brian Babin of Woodville is a dentist and former mayor of Woodville. He is a member of the Texas Dental Association, Sabine District Dental Society, International College of Dentists, Tyler County Heritage Society and Gideons International. He is also president of the Woodville Lions Club and vice president of the Tyler County Chamber of Commerce. He is past president of the State Board of Dental Examiners, and a past member of the Woodville Independent School District Board of Trustees and Texas Historical Commission. He served in the Texas Army National Guard and U.S. Air Force. Babin received a bachelor's degree from Lamar University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston.
Steve McReynolds of Port Neches is president of Groves Equipment Rental Company Inc. He is a board member of the Community Bank of Texas and Young Life Mid County. McReynolds received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University.
