FRANKSTON, July 17, 2014—On June 13, a Frankston pharmacy break-in added to the growing list of pharmacies in Anderson, Smith, and Henderson counties which had been broken into or burglarized in the span of several weeks.
Around 4:00 a.m., that morning, a break-in occurred at Maxwell Pharmacy, located at 626 Texas 155, in Frankston. According to Frankston Police Chief Darren Goodman, police obtained video taken from the store’s security cameras, but have been unable to positively identify the suspects thus far.
According to Chief Goodman, the suspects in these burglaries commit the crime as a way of obtaining prescription medications which can be sold on the street.
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call Frankston Police Department at 903-876-2400, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office at 903-729-6068, or Crime Stoppers at 903-729-8477 (TIPS).
