Frankston ISD celebrates new construction with Cornerstone Setting Ceremony, Dedication

FRANKSTON, February 27, 2014— Frankston ISD will celebrate the completion of multiple construction projects with two special upcoming events.

On Saturday, March 1, a Cornerstone Setting Ceremony will be held at the High School Gymnasium/Cafeteria. This formal ceremony will be performed by the Masons and will be held at 2:00 p.m.

In addition, on Monday, March 17, Frankston ISD will hold a Dedication Ceremony at the new elementary school. The event will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., and guests will be encouraged to tour the new facilities.

The projects were the result of a $17.3 million school bond issue which was approved by voters. The comprehensive bond issue also included new classrooms, sports field, dressing rooms, agriculture facility, two new cafeterias, and many renovations.
