Evening Story Time becomes weekly event

TYLER, September 6, 2013-- Tyler Public Library has added Starry Time Story Time as a weekly program to its already full roster of reading activities for area children. Starry Time is now held every Thursday evening, at 6 p.m., in the Library’s Story Room. Children up to age 11 and their families can join Youth Services Librarian Linda Gray and her team in the Library Children’s Department for stories and songs, plus a short movie or craft that everyone can enjoy.

“The Library offers great programs during the day, but if your children are in child care, or are in school, these events are not accessible.” says Linda Gray. “We want families to come and enjoy this time together. It is fun, and another way to encourage a love for reading.”

This event is free and no registration is required. The Library is located at 201 S. College Ave., in downtown Tyler. For more information, please call 903-593-7323, email lgray@tylertexas.com or visit the website at www.TylerLibrary.com.
