Children's Easter Egg Hunt at Lindsey Park slated for April 17

TYLER, April 11, 2014— For a hopping good time, join in Tyler Parks and Recreation’s 9th Annual Twilight Easter Egg Hunt Thursday, April 17, at Lindsay Park, 1255 Spur 344 West. The event kicks off at 6 p.m., starting with live musical entertainment and concluding with Easter Egg Hunts on the softball fields.

Egg hunts are divided into four groups: special needs children at 7 p.m., children ages 3-5 at 7:15 p.m., ages 6-8 at 7:35 p.m., and ages 9-10 at 7:55 p.m. Children will not hunt in the dark and parents are not allowed on the field during hunt time, except for the special needs group. Only one group at a time will hunt.

Children can enjoy the Easter Bunny, Jubilee Face Painters, clowns, balloon sculptures, a bounce slide and much more. Concessions will be available.

Sponsors include Walgreens, Women of Elegance, the Tyler Police Department, Tyler Municipal Court, Smith County 911, Molina Health Care and Partners For Youth.
