CHEROKEE CO., June 24, 2013—Cherokee County Crime Stoppers has two Crimes of the Week, with which police are seeking information.
The first crime was committed on May 28, at a home on FM 3198, near Bullard. The homeowner returned home from lunch and found the back doors to his home were open.
Deputies were able to determine the suspects parked at the rear of the home and used a spare key to make entry through the back door.
Stolen items include two flat-screen LED televisions, a shotgun, a cross-bow, and assorted jewelry.
The second crime occurred on May 29, at a home on CR 3401. The homeowner returned home from work to find his back door had been kicked in and items removed from his residence.
Items stolen include 2 collectable bullet boards, 2 guns, ammunition, jewelry, and supplies.
Anyone with information about these crimes is urged to call Cherokee County Crime Stoppers at 903-586-7878. Callers do not have to give their name, and all calls remain confidential. Callers may be eligible for a reward for information which leads to an arrest.
