TYLER, March 24, 2014— The City of Tyler’s Liberty Hall is proud to host Austin musician, Bob Schneider, March 29, at 8 p.m. This will be Bob’s third concert at Liberty Hall; each one has been a sold out event.
Born in Michigan and partially raised in Germany, Schneider dropped out of the University of Texas at El Paso to front his first band. He is a fixture on the Austin music scene, having played in various bands before embarking on a solo career in 1999.
Schneider's musical approach as a solo artist continues with an eclectic and diverse musical style, combining the traditional singer/songwriter aesthetic with elements of funk, country, rock and folk. With his edgy lyrics about alienation, drug addiction and lost romance, he has gained a national fan base. Schneider has released several albums, including various side projects via his own label, Shockorama Records. Schneider’s most recent release, “Burden of Proof,” debuted last year.
“If you like something different and you love a party, you will love Bob’s show,” said Anne Payne, Liberty Hall manager. “I am a huge fan!”
Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door (if still available). The VIP boxes (seat 4) are $200 per show. For tickets or more information, go to www.LibertyTyler.com or follow Liberty Hall on Facebook and Twitter.
