LUFKIN, May 8, 2013--Angelina College will hold its annual Commencement exercise at 7:30 p.m., on Friday, May 10th inside the Activity Center located on the AC campus.
A total of 550 graduates are eligible to participate in the ceremony, which includes graduates from the summer and fall semesters of 2012 and the Spring 2013 semester receiving various degrees and certificates.
Dr. Wynn Rosser, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Texas Foundation, is the commencement speaker. According to its web site, “Greater Texas Foundation is a statewide education grant maker based in Bryan (Texas). The foundation’s mission is to support efforts to ensure all Texas students are prepared for, have access to, persist in, and complete a postsecondary education.”
Dr. Rosser also got his start in the community college system before graduating Texas A&M University, where he earned his bachelors, masters and doctorate.
