Anderson Co. narcotics, firearms trafficking suspect surrenders to authorities

ANDERSON CO.., February 26, 2014--A female suspect, wanted in connection with an Anderson Co. narcotics, firearms trafficking investigation has turned herself in.

According to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor, Brittney Estridge Hawthorne, turned herself in to authorities earlier this morning.

Hawthorne had been wanted by police in connection with a narcotics and firearms trafficking investigation which has resulted in the arrest of 21 people.

Only one suspect, Raul Hernandez Gomez is still being sought in connection with this investigation.

Hawthorne has been charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and is being held on $75,000 bond.
