Anderson Co. fugitive captured after month-long priority search

ANDERSON CO., August 20, 2014—Fugitive Millage Wayne Hawthorne, age 37, of Palestine, has been arrested, according to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor.

Hawthorne was wanted, primarily, on a parole violation with the original charge of Burglary.

Hawthorne was arrested at approximately 1:30 p.m., at a residence on ACR 3701, where he was hiding. Hawthorne was arrested without incident.

Additional charges are pending.

“He’s been arrested in the past for engaging in organized criminal activity, drug trade, drug trafficking, as well as burglary,” said Sheriff Taylor. “It’s good to have him off the street.”
