TYLER, July 11, 2014– Are your kids already bored with summer vacation? Looking for a way to entertain your children without breaking the bank? The City of Tyler’s Liberty Hall, in partnership with APEX Entertainment is putting on a last chance summer camp for children ages 7 to 14. The camp will run July 28 through Aug. 2, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The camp is called “So You Think You Can Act?“ and is perfect for any young person interested in becoming a star or going into show business.
“We are excited to be working at Liberty Hall again,” said Felicity Enas, creative director for APEX Entertainment. “The kids just love being on the big stage. They will be writing, directing and acting in a show they will create all their own.”
The camp will start Monday, July 28, and will run through Friday, August 1, with a public performance on Saturday, August 2, at 10:30 a.m., at Liberty Hall.
Liberty Hall is pleased to collaborate with local partners to bring the best in live entertainment to its stage. APEX provides both training of actors for film and the stage and producing cutting-edge plays not available elsewhere in the city.
The summer camp costs $150 per camper and there are only 25 spots available. To register for the camp, go to www.LibertyTyler.com. For more information about APEX Entertainment, go to www.apextheatre20.com. For questions, call 903-595-7274.
